There’s something about this time of year.
The sun is shining, holidays are on the horizon, and autumn sewing and knitting projects are probably the last thing on our minds.
Until suddenly... they aren't.
One day we're enjoying long warm evenings, and the next we're reaching for cosy fabrics, beautiful yarns and exciting new patterns. But before the autumn making begins, there's one thing many of us could benefit from: a little more space.
That's why we're launching the Destasher Summer Stash Reset.
What is the Summer Stash Reset?
The Summer Stash Reset is a near-end-of-summer invitation to pause, take stock of your creative space and prepare for a new season of making. Rather than seeing destashing as simply "getting rid of things", we see it as giving your creative journey its next chapter.
That two metres of fabric bought for a project that never happened.
The yarn left over from your favourite jumper.
The pattern you've long realised you'll never make.
The buttons, trims and notions quietly waiting in a drawer.
They're no longer serving you, but they could become someone else's favourite find. By passing them on, you're making room for fresh inspiration while helping valuable materials stay in circulation.
A stash reset isn’t about owning less. It’s about making room for the projects we’re genuinely excited about.
