Lucy Fennessy: raising melanoma awareness through sewing

Lucy Fennessy, a melanoma survivor from the West Midlands, launched the Sew Summer Skin Challenge to promote sun-safe, handmade clothing during May’s Melanoma Awareness Month. Through the sewing community, she raises awareness of skin cancer prevention, encouraging stylish garments that protect against harmful UV exposure.
